Pride gives us the opportunity to be willingly visible in our community; to show the world our diversity; to give thanks to those before us who have campaigned for our rights, and to give voice to our ongoing quest for equality. Come help us celebrate with the following scheduled events:

Pre-Pride Grad Club Dance

"Storm the Fort" - A Movie and Outdoor Dance Party!
Saturday June 11th, 2011, (6:00 PM - 2:00 AM) Admission $10
Barbeque 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Movie Screening nightfall - 10:00 PM, Dance Party 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
Join us for an evening of mystery and fun as you enjoy the cash bar, barbeque, and a collaborative effort with Kingston Pride 2011 and Reelout to screen Queer Pride and Prejudice which will be projected against the majestic limestone walls at Fort Henry.
Queer Pride and Prejudice examines a uniquely Canadian perspective on how prejudice empowers our gender/sexual/cultural/racial/class/ability/age pride and empowerment. Download more information about the movie.
Then put on your dancing shoes and dance the night away in our outdoor dance party in the dry moat at Fort Henry. Bonfires and torches add to the mystique of this outdoor dance party!! If it rains . . . rescheduled for August 12th.
Miss Kingston Pride Pageant
Part I - Friday June 17th, 2011 on board "Out on the Queen"
Part II - Saturday June 18th, Post Pride Windup party Grad Club - admission sliding scale $6 - $10
Join us for the First annual competition to crown Miss Kingston Pride, a two day event. Contestants will first perform on board “Out on the Queen” June 17th. Come aboard and enjoy the 3 hr cruise while cheering on your favourite Queen and future official representative of Kingston Pride! Then join us at the Grad Club Saturday June 18th during the Post Pride wind up party to officially crown the winner of Miss Kingston Pride!
Out on the Queen III
Friday June 17th, 2011, boarding 8:30 PM - Midnight, Tickets $25
Cruise departs from Crawford Wharf at 9:00 PM Tickets available at Ben's Pub, Secret Garden Inn or at the boat.
Join us for our third annual “Out on the Queen” cruise. Enjoy this 3 hour cruise through the 1000 Islands aboard the Mississippi Style Paddle Wheeler the Island Queen. Dance the night away to the music of a local Kingston DJ, and enjoy a Drag competition as the precursor to the official crowning of Miss Kingston Pride!. Cash bar, free welcome glass of wine when boarding sponsored by Prince Edward County wineries.
Kingston Pride Art Show

The Kingston Pride 2011 Art Show provides a creative forum for LGBTQ artists in Kingston and area. Come support and enjoy the diverse artistic creativity of our community in this juried Kingston Pride 2011 Art Show!
Kingston Pride 2011 Parade
Saturday June 18th, 2011 (12:00 noon - 2:00 PM)
Join us and show your pride! Parade starts at City Park and winds its way over and down princess street before returning to City Park for our post pride picnic.

Come dance and show your pride with friends old and new at the Grad Club! Featuring DJs from CFRC, the student radio station of Queen's University, and Part II of the Miss Kingston Pride 2011 pageant, the only official pageant of Kingston Pride 2011, where the new Miss Kingston Pride is crowned!
